Ashley Mae Sebera was born November 29, 1988 on the outskirts of Seven Hills in Ohio. Sebera is more well-known for her wrestling professional stage name Dana Brooke. Sebera graduated in 2011 in the field of education at Kent State University with majors in fashion and design. The minor she earned was business. Sebera was a participant with a number of sports including diving prior to returning to gymnastics. Sebera's ankles had been severely damaged following her gymnastics career for over 18 years. Her injuries forced her to take a break and retire. After an entire 18-year career in gymnastics Sebera sustained serious injuries in both her ankles. The injuries forced her to quit. Sebera won championships in 2010-2011 in the National Physique Committee contests. In 2012 she received the professional status and began competing with the International Federation of BodyBuilding & Fitness. Sebera signed a WWE contract in the year 2013. She made her WWE debut on the WWE as Dana Brooke. She spent 3 years working in WWE NXT training and doing events before making her debut on the WWE Main Roster in 2016 with Monday Night RAW. In addition to professional wrestling, Sebera continued to be active in bodybuilding. She was back to the 2017 Arnold's Classic, competing in the international fitness category.
