Amy Smart is an American former model and actress. She was born and raised in California USA she started her modeling professional career in Italy. Her Costly Affair, a 1996 TV film that she played her first part in, was her debut performance. It was a struggle to land an appearance on Starship Troopers. The transition was difficult for Amy since she needed to move from modelling into performing. Models aren't regarded as the best actors, so they usually get smaller, insignificant roles. Amy was determined to keep trying. She climbed the ladder to bigger roles. She began in The 70s series and Varsity Blues film. The 2005 romance comedy Just Friends, which also included Ryan Reynolds, saw her play some more notable role. Amy gained the recognition she'd been seeking for nearly 10 years when her film, Just Friends was released. She went on doing some important films, including the Crank series with Jason Statham and the series Shameless in which she portrayed an adored recurring character.
