Colleen Mae Ballinger (born November 21 in 1986) is an American comedian and YouTuber, actress, writer and singer. Her Internet character Miranda Sings is her most well-known. She has uploaded videos of her character on YouTube and has performed her one-woman comedy routine in theaters across the world. In 2016, she created and appeared in Haters Back Off, a Netflix original series that focuses on the character. Ballinger created the hilariously untalented persona, egotistical and bizarre to mock the thousands of YouTube videos featuring people who sing badly in hopes of breaking into show business, but who appear unaware of their lack of talent.Ballinger also features lifestyle and comedy videos on her own YouTube channel as well as a vlog channel, Colleen Vlogs. Her YouTube channels, together, have surpassed 5 billion views. Miranda Sings has over 10 million subscribers and 6 million Instagram followers. Ballinger has won the Teen Choice Award for "Web Star: Comedy"and a Streamy Award as the Best Actress. 4 She was cited by The Hollywood Reporter as one of the Top 25 Digital Stars and was ranked as no. After a couple of years of dating, Ballinger married Joshua Evans in California in July 2015. In separate YouTube videos, Evans & Ballinger announced their divorce plans in September of 2016.
